SPRING MISSIONS CONFERENCE / 12, 13, 14 APRIL
It still isn’t too late to plan to join us for our SPRING MISSIONS CONFERENCE. The program, travel directions, and motel accommodation recommendations are all posted on FEBRUARY ARCHIVES.

Our purpose for all our Conferences is to stir up mutual participation in our missionary fellowship. FELLOWSHIP is mutual INTEREST, INVESTMENT, and INVOLVEMENT in a common activity. That is what Baptist Faith Missions is.

We will also give you the latest updates and reports concerning our missionaries’ ministries and needs and how we can all work together to strengthen their hands and encourage them.

2009-10 THANKSGIVING OFFERING UPDATE
God bless each one who has given – and you who continue to give – to our THANKSGIVING OFFERING. With the offerings reported this month [$1638.00 – see the Offerings Report pages in this issue], our new updated total to $91,960.01.

We are praying and hoping that still others of you will contribute over the weeks to come and that we can reach our $100,000 Goal!

THE THANKSGIVING OFFERING IS USED TO DISBURSE THOSE COMMITMENTS WE HAVE MADE TO OUR MISSIONARIES FROM THE GENERAL FUND WHICH ARE NOT SUPPLIED BY OUR MONTHLY OFFERINGS TO THE GENERAL FUND.

MONTHLY GENERAL FUND SOLVENCY
THANK YOU! THANK YOU, GIVING FRIENDS! Our February offerings to the Monthly General Fund totaled $30,502.72 [see the Offerings Report printed in this issue].

We always recognize that THE MONTHLY GENERAL FUND OFFERING IS WHAT IT IS...BECAUSE YOU WHO GAVE IT – DID SO! And, we bless God for you. Every one of your names – and each of your offerings is an occasion and subject of personal thanksgivings to God.

This month’s GENERAL FUND offering was a few thousands of dollars less than what we need to sustain to meet our missionaries’ ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE TRANSACTIONS disbursements each month. [January=$38,258.30; February=$40,343.05]

We really need to maintain at least $40,000.00 per month in GENERAL FUND offerings to maintain a monthly GENERAL FUND SOLVENCY – and then that will free up our THANKSGIVING OFFERING funds to supply the other support services and benefits we commit to our missionaries over the course of the year.

EVERY MONTH OF THE YEAR WE WORK OUT OF THE GENERAL FUND. The General Fund is the main contribution source and stream to keep our missionaries on their fields and ‘keep the lights on’ for their ministries. Even if we maintain what we have committed to our missionaries – it is still so modest that it doesn’t really cover their essential needs.

BUT, WE CAN’T CONSIDER INCREASING OUR ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE COMMITMENTS TO THEM WITHOUT AN INCREASE OF THE MONTHLY GENERAL FUND OFFERINGS.
